Thanks to the special ET cannula, the specimen collection is fast and harmless, without any painful deflecting operation. ET offers the possibility to perform at first the bone marrow biopsy and than the bone marrow aspiration using the same needle thanks to the side hole in the cannula. With just one puncture in the iliac crest, the physician can obtain both histological and cytological samples. |
